Location: 610 Valley Health Plaza, Paramus, NJ, 07652
On-site M-F: 9-5 with 2 late night shifts (1:00 pm - 9:00 pm or 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm)
Salary: $70,000- $72,500

Job Summary:

As a Program Manager in our Addiction Recovery Services, work along Addiction Recovery Services leadership to oversee the operational and strategic aspects of service delivery. Lead, supervise, and guide our diverse staff, including Case Managers, Peer Recovery Specialists, and Therapists, and directly aid in our client's recovery to wellness.


What You Will Do:

  • Provide direct supervision to assigned staff to enhance their skills sets, leadership qualities and administrative functions
  • Provide ongoing support to staff to ensure completion of job responsibilities
  • Oversee the program's day-to-day operations (i.e. hiring and evaluating of staff, scheduling of adequate coverage, overseeing customer service response, clinical documentation, triage procedures, workflow design, and task assignments)
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the agency's policies, applicable laws, and governmental regulatory agencies
  • Evaluate staff productivity and documentation of service delivery
  • Manage a limited caseload
  • Assist client with concrete services and advocacy, interface with other systems on behalf of client, provide, engage in inter-organizational care coordination, and follow up on referrals when indicated by initial and ongoing assessment
  • Assist with problem-solving for individual and family member treatment and supportive interventions
  • Provide educational/supportive group presentations and discussions with clients and/or family members focused on mental illness, chemical dependency/addictions, and/or dual diagnosis

What We Need to See:

  • Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field as required by program regulations & standards.
  • Must possess a current professional license (LCSW/LPC/LMFT and LCADC) as required by program regulations & standards.
  • At least 2-3 years of demonstrated professional experience providing clinical services to diverse populations, including experience in crisis response/risk assessment and substance use.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and must be insurable by agency's automobile insurance.
  • Must possess or be willing to apply for the Certification in Clinical Supervision, as required by their respective licensure board to provide clinical supervision to provisionally licensed staff toward full licensure.
