What to expect:
The Time & Attendance Administrator is responsible for administering processes to support timekeeping and attendance tracking for salaried and hourly employees.
How you will make an impact:
- Assists and supports Manager of Administration
- Responsible for the administration of timekeeping and attendance (e.g. timecard approval, corrections, and exceptions) for hourly and salaried employees
- Accountable for timely and accurate processing of all time and attendance transactions, understanding current ADP processes and ensuring data integrity.
- Manage and monitor timecard approvals/ signoffs, data validation, historical edits, and generating/ exporting reports.
- Respond to employee inquiries in a timely manner regarding payroll information and troubleshoots to resolve employee concerns.
- Analyze reports and deliver key trends and escalate issues appropriately.
- Takes initiative in identifying creative ways to approach existing processes.
- Builds and maintains schedules in a timely manner.
- Ensures that daily roster needs are met in an efficient manner, calls for shift coverage when necessary.
- Processes shift trades and day off requests in accordance with CBA.
- Monitors attendance phone line and updates accordingly
- Minimize redundancy in scheduling.
- Ensures efficient utilization of personnel.
- Other duties as necessary
What you will bring:
Required Experience, Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2-4 years’ experience required.
- Ability to deal with information that is highly sensitive and confidential.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Effectively focuses on multiple tasks.
- Ability to interact well within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and keen attention to details
- Strong analytical skills
- Must have flexible schedule availability to cover a 24 hour per day 7 day per week operation including weekends and holidays as assigned.
Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Skills
- Experience working with multiple pay cycles preferred.
- ADP Time & Attendance system experience preferred.
- Experience in a complex, multiple employee group organization preferred.
