As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Response in Monmouth Junction, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach while working with a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution and warehouse location, including interior work areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries, helping to support authorized access and reporting unusual activity, damaged gates, or unsecured doors.
• Help to deter loss, disruption, and unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence, observing daily operations, and communicating security-related concerns in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
