Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders and applicable guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or response actions according to site protocols.
• Support hospital and clinic operations by assisting with de-escalation, coordinating with site contacts and/or first responders, and maintaining a professional presence in fast-paced and changing environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a New Jersey RPO Certificate.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
