- Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications to verify dimensional accuracy and product conformance
- Conduct and document First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102 and internal standards
- Perform daily inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished assemblies
- Lead and support process validation for new products, tooling, and manufacturing changes
- Investigate nonconformances using root cause analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, scrap, and process variation
- Analyze quality and production data to identify trends and systemic issues
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation such as inspection reports, control plans, NCRs, and FMEAs
- Support ISO 9001 compliance through audits, documentation management, and process controls
- Collaborate closely with operations, engineering, and supply chain to resolve quality issues and improve performance

- 5 years of manufacturing experience (aerospace preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings and specifications
- Hands-on, detail-oriented professional comfortable performing daily inspections on the shop floor
- Proven experience with First Article Inspections (FAI), nonconformance management, and CAPA
- Solid working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems
- Skilled in root cause analysis and data-driven problem solving
- Experience in high-precision, regulated industries (aerospace, defense, or similar) preferred
- Familiarity with SPC, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Collaborative team player who works effectively with operations, engineering, and supply chain
- Proactive, accountable, and ethically driven, with a strong focus on customer quality and results
- On-site role in a high-precision, regulated manufacturing environment with visible impact on product quality
