    Requirements:

    • Valid NJ Instructional Certificate (Teacher of English)
    • Knowledge/Experience working with various high school levels/courses (CP, Honors, AP)
    • Proficient at modeling/teaching/assessing written expression
    • Knowledge of NJ Student Learning Standards for ELA
    • Knowledge of state assessment test specifications for English Language Arts
    • Ability to integrate technology effectively to enhance instruction
    • Knowledge of Charlotte Danielson\"s Framework for Teaching a plus
    • Knowledge of best practices in high school level education
    • Willingness to collaborate with fellow department members
    • Bilingual (a plus)

    Salary:

    • As per salary guide based on experience and earned degree level
    • Minimum $67,968 - maximum $99,181

    Benefits:

    In addition to the base salary, eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package:
    including medical/vision, prescription and dental insurance, and paid time off. Will be entered into the appropriate NJ Pension Program.
